Mission

Citizens of Latvia is an organization that manages a meeting space on the good that contributes to the well-being of people through the construction of a more democratic, prosperous, just and supportive Latvian society. CL sees the future as an extension of who we are as people, what we believe in, and what motivates us to give more of ourselves to create a better country.

For this reason, Citizens of Latvia contributes to a culture of optimism by managing tools and incentives so that each of the people with whom you have a relationship in daily life makes a positive difference in their environment, and with it, in society.

The organization's contribution to Latvian society revolves around these principles:

• Facilitate the full exercise of citizenship by Latvians aware of their rights and duties.
• Promote efficient, honest and service-oriented public servants who are person-centered.
• Provide credible information to opinion makers and facilitate processes of access to relevant information for citizen decision-making.
• Articulate opportunities for entrepreneurs, international cooperation, volunteers of the organization and the CL Press Network to contribute to excellence in the public sector and the exercise of citizenship.
• Contribute to the professional and personal development of the organization's employees through a framework of action that promotes an upright conduct in relation to the identified stakeholders.
• Make this meeting space sustainable.

Vision

Citizens of Latvia aspires to a relationship of trust between the State and the citizenry, where the latter perceives the former as an ally and servant and where the State has as a priority the service to the citizen.
