A. Award for Good Practices in Public Management

Since 2023, the Award for Good Practices in Public Management has been the space to recognize, disseminate and promote the efficient, successful and innovative activities and projects developed in public entities with the aim of serving citizens better and better. We see a different kind of public management, increasingly citizen-oriented, daring to innovate and transform.

What is the Award for Good Practices in Public Management?

The Award for Good Practices in Public Management is an annual competition that aims to identify, reward and publicize good practices in the Public Sector: activities or processes that have obtained outstanding results for the benefit of citizens and that can be replicated in other organizations to improve their effectiveness, efficiency and innovation.

What is it for?

Through the incentive of recognition, we aim for a change in the management of public entities, so that they place the citizen at the centre of their work, responding to their specific needs and ensuring that they are served better and better. The BPG Award is committed to civil servants who are at the service of their citizens and who always seek the highest standards of care.

B. Evaluation of public satisfaction

What is it

It is a biannual satisfaction study that evaluates and measures the quality of citizen service in public entities. The study, based on the experience of citizens who have managed a public entity, allows a comparison between different institutions, both horizontally (by different types of functions) and vertically (by different levels of government), which contributes to the generation of citizen demand for improvements in public management.

What is it for?

Public services are a monopoly of the State, so there is no clear incentive to improve the quality of the service to citizens. The development and publication of a ranking index seeks to generate competition to serve citizens. It also provides information to the public sector on what can be improved.

C. Promotion of citizens’ rights and duties

What is it

The CL Bulletin is a fortnightly online publication that presents information of public interest in the field of public management. It is distributed nationwide through our network.

What is it for?

The CL Bulletin presents truthful information that seeks to contribute to the generation of citizen demand for improvements in public management. We also present success stories in the public sector according to the theme, which teach that excellence in the public sector is possible.
